Fleecehold links
There are a number of groups trying to stop new fleecehold being created in the future. Our company is determined to help those property owners and at least minimise the negative impacts, and if possible totally solve it. We think we are the only company that will take over an estate and try to have it adopted by your local council.

Fleecehold
Fleecehold is a term used where a builder hasn't agreed with a local council to take over the common areas of a housing estate (parks, public open space, ponds etc).
All owners in the estate then pay an estate management company to maintain those areas (whilst other residents in the same council area have their public open spaces, parks and ponds maintained). It is enforced by restrictions on title deeds which prevent a sale without the management company consent. It can cost up to £500 for a management company to agree a sale, and complete the paperwork.
We think this is really unfair. We want to help people trapped in Fleecehold arrangements.

Firstly we assess the legal position for their estate and help the residents gain control of their arrangements. We then manage it for the residents, with residents guiding how the estate is maintained and run. After the handover from the old managing company we will discuss with residents the possibility of closing the Fleecehold arrangement down.

We will agree a strategy and if residents and their council can agree we will then close it down
We guarantee we won't increase the management fees for two years and will work with residents to use good quality local and reasonably priced suppliers and reduce overall costs where we can.
We'll work transparently with residents and agree low fees for sales on the estate.
